We treat facial wrinkles with botulinum toxin or biological fillers – a comparatively low-risk alternative to plastic surgery.

Botulinum toxin & biological fillers (PRF – Platelet Rich Fibrin)

Treatment of Facial Wrinkles

Treating facial wrinkles with botulinum toxin or biological fillers is, in contrast to plastic surgery, comparatively low-risk, can be used successfully in various areas, and requires no elaborate follow-up appointments or downtime. These minimally invasive treatments are also virtually painless. Treatment time is short and everyday activities are hardly affected.

Both botulinum toxin and PRF are broken down by the body over time. How quickly this happens varies individually and depends on several factors. This can be seen as a disadvantage (repeat treatments every 3–12 months are needed for a stable result) or as an advantage (if you are ever unhappy with the result, the effect wears off by itself).

The full effect of botulinum toxin sets in after about two weeks and lasts, on average and depending on the area, around 3–6 months. With PRF, the effect is generally visible immediately; the final result, however, usually only becomes apparent once swelling and any bruising have subsided – likewise after about two weeks – and lasts up to one year. After repeated treatments, longer-lasting results can be expected.

We use autologous PRF – produced from your own blood. It is obtained on the day of treatment, completely free of additives, by centrifuging your own blood (approx. four 10 ml tubes). The concentrated autologous growth factors are highly effective and virtually risk-free.

Only quality products are used in our practice.
