No need to worry about the treatment: we take a small amount of your blood, distributed into several small tubes of no more than 10 ml each. These are centrifuged for about eight minutes, separating out specific components of your own blood. A so-called clot forms in the tubes; it is removed, further processed, and later placed back into the wound – where the healing booster gets to work.

What is PRF (Platelet Rich Fibrin)?
PRF stands for Platelet Rich Fibrin, an important component of the blood – without fibrin, the body’s “glue”, natural wound healing would be impossible.

This is exactly where the PRF method comes in: your physician or dentist takes a small amount of blood, which is centrifuged for around eight minutes. This process specifically filters out the growth factors responsible for wound healing, which are then returned to the wound area.
